For 4 generations my family have owned a house called Greenhill, in Achiltibuie. It is comfortably & traditionally furnished (see pictures of the rooms below).
Greenhill is set in its own gardens with a fenced-in wild wooded area and small lawn to sit out on. There are fantastic views across to the Summer Isles and direct access down to the sea via a short walk over the croft.
The house sleeps between 2 to 6 people & has a sitting room with open fire, dining room, kitchen and utility room. There is a victorian bathroom with the original enamel bath and a shower. The house is heated by electric storage heaters in each of the rooms. It has a TV with Freeview, DVD player, washing machine and tumble drier. There is parking space for 3 cars next to the house.

BOOKING FOR 2012 HOLIDAYS:
We are now taking bookings for 2012 holidays.
Please be aware that popular weeks go very quickly so early reservations are recommended.
All details are as listed above. Lettings run from Saturday – Saturday.
The cost for a week’s rent is as follows:
High Season. (£740/per week) weeks commencing: 5th May; 2nd June ; 23rd June – 1st September.
Medium Season. (£610/per week) weeks commencing: 31st March - 28th April; 12th May – 26th May; 9th June – 23rd June; 8th September – 29th September.
Low season. (£485/per week) weeks commencing: 7th January – 24th March; 6th October – 15th December.

We occasionally let the house for Christmas and New Year – please enquire about availability and rates.

Letting periods run from 3 pm on Saturday afternoons to 11 am the following Saturday.
Included in your rental is everything apart from bed linen and towels – these are available for £7 per person (you are welcome to bring your own if you would prefer). Please make sure to request at your time of booking. A non-refundable booking deposit of £250 per week is required to reserve your week with the balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival. The house is no-smoking and I’m afraid that we do not allow pets.
We employ a local caretaker rather than a cleaner. By booking you agree to leave the house clean and tidy for future visitors. Full instructions will be waiting for you on arrival and our caretaker will call to arrange pick up of the key.
