I visited Scotland several times and each time I fell in love with a different corner of that wonderful country. But when I did a day's trip through the Highlands starting from Ullapool, I lost my heart there. I had the best Bed&Breakfast at Ullapool (in my opinion) and they told me where to go - so I came to Achiltibuie. Funny enough, I knew its name from a weekly "letter" in a big German weekly newspaper, "Die Zeit", where it was always described as the most wonderful place. That's right. :) All the best!
